Autumn Painting

Yvonne’s artistic research has developed over the years through fashion design, textile craftsmanship and an enduring connection with painting, which she approaches as a direct means for emotions, memories and sensations to take shape. The October retreat is rooted in this vision and in her wish to share what makes her feel good, above all the kind of slowness that is so hard to find in everyday life.

Now in its third edition, it takes place in Apecchio, between Marche and Tuscany, in a venue surrounded by nature, at the height of autumn and its colours. Yvonne leads a small all-female group through acrylic painting sessions on canvas, also open to those who have never painted, because all that is needed is the desire to create. Each woman is closely guided in her own work, while the rest of the day is divided between time outdoors, shared meals and conversations among people who did not know one another before.

It is precisely this dimension that, for Yvonne, sets a retreat apart from a simple workshop: alongside painting, there is the chance to pause, focus entirely on oneself and make room for creativity. An experience participants return from with a painting made with their own hands and the memory of days lived at a different pace.
