Explore Tuscany
•The RI.Perspective
Marta of Grapefruit Retreats curates and leads this retreat in Tuscany together with Sandra, who brings her American community with her. The project offers a few days to slow down in a warm and thoughtfully tended setting, designed for a small group of women with full lives, used to navigating constant decisions.
At Podere Trafonti, a working estate in the hills of Siena, Tuscany is experienced through its rural landscape and the people who live there. Antonella, owner of the Podere and an organic beekeeper, guides the honey tasting and the visit to the beehives, rooted in her everyday life at the Podere.
Moments of conviviality unfold with Sandra, who shares the tiramisù recipe passed down in Marta’s family, and through outdoor dinners with organic food from the area. Visits to medieval villages, a local winery, pauses and light morning practices support a more unhurried stay, where participants can get to know one another without rush and make room for more personal conversations.
At the centre remains the place itself, and the way the days take on a slower, simpler rhythm.
