Art Therapy

•The RI.Perspective
Art Therapy Retreat is offered by artist Beena, founder of The Hale Clinic, who is committed to supporting health through a holistic approach.
The retreat is facilitated by Anu Soell, who has worked for years across meditation, self-inquiry and creative practices. Anu’s training in trauma healing does not define the retreat as a clinical path, but offers a framework in which painting becomes a tool for observation: of oneself, of the gesture, of what emerges before control steps in. Alongside her works Arun Viglietti, an art therapist with a specific interest in neurodiversity and the gestalt approach.
For one week, they guide a daily sequence in which Dynamic Meditation, Kundalini Meditation, dance and long painting sessions alternate, with no artistic experience required.
The attention remains on what happens while creating, rather than on what is produced, allowing emotions, patterns and intuitions that often remain in the background of everyday life to surface.
At Amalurra, in the Basque Country, part of the retreat takes place outdoors, among woods, streams and open landscapes. Here sounds, light, air and the movement of the landscape encourage a more direct relationship with what is happening around, opening to a broader and freer relationship with creativity and with one’s own means of expression.
