A Sadhana Immersion

The RI.Perspective
There is a precise question at the heart of this week: what remains of yoga once the retreat ends? For Hannah and Nina, the answer is Sadhana: a personal, steady discipline, cultivated day after day through asana, pranayama, meditation, and the study of yogic philosophy.
Their vision rests on a shared foundation in Ashtanga Vinyasa and the Ghosh method. Hannah, a yoga and mindfulness teacher and psychologist, integrates Hatha Yoga and Buddhist traditions, while Nina teaches through Vinyasa, Rocket, Jivamukti, and Katonah Yoga, weaving in kriya and mantra.
The practices that emerge, oriented toward the care of body, mind, and heart, begin in the silence of the morning and continue with philosophical study sessions and workshops devoted to refining technique, alignment, and awareness. Evenings are given to Yoga Nidra, journaling, and slower moments.
Bodhi Bhavan, in Sanskrit, the abode of awakening, is an intimate centre in the Monchique mountains, surrounded by gardens, with an indoor shala and spaces for rest and quiet in nature.
The immersion is designed for dedicated practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of the teachings and recognise in yoga a path capable of shaping how they live. The aim is for each participant to return home with a Sadhana of their own, sustainable and true to the life they actually lead.
