Ritrovarsi

•The RI.Perspective
For Chiara Quaglia, founder of Inner Compass Travel, travel and self-discovery are part of the same path. This vision takes shape in “Ritrovarsi”, a retreat for those who wish to pause and recognise the parts of themselves they tend to neglect amid responsibilities and expectations. Alongside Chiara, Loredana Di Giulio, owner of Studio Quinto Elemento in Turin, leads the holistic sessions, using meditation and energy practices to help people explore what they feel.

The programme follows three stages, arriving, connecting and choosing oneself, and begins with an opening circle and a grounding practice to slow the pace. Then come gentle yoga, chakra work and exercises in movement and personal writing, offering ways to listen to the body and name emotions, needs and desires. A collective experience with music and breathing invites participants to let go. The evening fire ritual, with a shamanic drum, sits alongside moments of exchange with the group, in which everyone is free to decide how much to share.

To allow time to process what emerges, guided activities alternate with breaks for rest or walks in the garden and woodland surrounding La Gualda Vecchia, a farmhouse in Monteverdi Marittimo, Tuscany.

On the final day, exercises in pairs focus on identifying and expressing personal boundaries, while a closing writing session lets each person choose a small, concrete commitment to keep after returning home.
