Crete Fitness
• The RI.Perspective
Crete Fitness Retreat grows out of the vision of Stella Kamba, founder of More Life Adventures, and takes shape from an approach in which well-being is not defined by performance alone, but is built through the ability to integrate movement, rest, nutrition and time spent in nature.
In August, the retreat takes place in Plaka, in the Lasithi area of Crete, at Fig Tree Villa, a small private property designed for shared living without losing personal space, with an open-air gym reserved exclusively for guests.
Most mornings, the functional training sessions, shaped around each participant’s level of preparation, work on strength, endurance and skills, alongside trail running and open-water swimming. The rebalancing part of the programme is entrusted to yoga classes with Nadia Delacombaz, mobility, stretching, massages, moments of pause and nutrition designed to support physical regeneration.
During the first week of August, Coco Dahdouh, founder of Alba Retreats and retreat strategist, joins Nadia as co-host, while the training sessions are led by coach Niklaus Jud, founder of UNIK Sports. From 18–25 August, the training sessions are led by Sarah Molloy, a strength coach specialising in women’s health and hormonal well-being.
Through the rhythm of the days, the open spaces and life in community, the experience offers a different way of relating to the body, inviting participants to discover how energy and balance require more conscious training.
